Determine Your Points

Monday, July 7th, 2008

Step #2

Once you have chosen your topic, the next thing to do is pick your points. For the average speech about three points will work just fine.

So, determine three ideas that you what to present about your topic and write each one down. Then take the time to research and explain each point. A very common way to explain a point is to tell a story. A story will help your audience connect to the point and remember the concept better.
